Springbank Invitational Piping Competition - Sat 17th Sept

Kintyre Piping Society are hosting the annual Springbank Invitational Piping Competition on Saturday 17th September 2011 in the Argyll Arms Hotel, Campbeltown.

This annual piping competiton features 8 of the worlds top pipers, and is sponsored by Springbank.

This years pipers are: Willie McCallum, Stuart Liddell, Roddy MacLeod, Angus MacColl, Gordon walker, Iain Speirs, James Murray and Faye Henderson.

Judges for this years event are: John MacDougall, Iain MacFadyen and Commander John Wilson.
Fear-an-tighe for the event is BBC Radio's Gary West.

The competiton will run during the day on Sat 17th Septemeber, and a ceilidh will follow in the evening. Good day out, and a great chance to hear these 8 pipers.

Reminder that Kintyre Piping Society is holding the annual Springbank Invitational Piping Competition in the Argyll Arms Hotel, Campbeltown this coming Saturday 17th September.

Competition Starts at 10am, tickets £6 available on the door.

Following the competition, in the evening there will be a dance with music from The Reason and also a mini band from Kintyre Schools Pipe Band will be performing.
Tickets for the dance are £3, available on the door.
