Pop up shop

Postby Billyfarrell » Mon Feb 10, 2014 8:18 pm

Hi there, I work for M&Co and I am looking to gauge opinion from the local community there what you would think to us coming over for the day to have a pop up shop.
We would be bringing;
men's, women's, children's clothes and homeware products.

Do you think this is something that you would like to see?
And suggestions you could make would be received gratefully .

Kind regards
Billy farrell

I think that's a great idea.

So long as you have a selection, I'm sure I'd visit.

but what about all the other shops that are here already? 52 weeks a year paying local taxes and contributing to the local economy. What about them?
It's a no from me.

Actually, I think one-off events like this help the local shops.

For example, today's Sale of the Century doesn't mean local furniture shops are doomed. And since I am not normally in town on a Saturday, a local café will benefit from me buying a coffee and cake, the butcher's from me popping in for some butcher meat, and I'll maybe get a nice bit of smoked haddock too.
