What a fantastic show last night in Carradale and great to see the village hall full to overflowing!! The production featured extracts from Kilt cult by Kenny Lindsay, Katie Morag by Lisa Grindall, Para Handy's Treasure and Kidnapped both by Alasdair McCrone and Robert Paterson, Whisky Galore by Compton Mackenzie, The two herdsmen of Lochbuie by Peter McNab and Consider the Lillies by Iain Crichton Smith, along with some original, and very funny material for Island Nights by Kenny Lindsay and Alasdair McCrone. I'm so pleased we made the trip to Carradale for what proved to be a very entertaining evening, and even more pleased that I hadn't offered to drive, nobody mentioned the play was licensed :D , it certainly helped for the strip the willow at the end of the show!!
