CCOG Fruit Tree Pruning

Postby CCOG » Thu Nov 12, 2009 4:16 pm

Campbeltown Community Organic Garden is offering a short course in fruit tree pruning, specifically apple trees. On Saturday 28th November the course will take place in the Guide Hall between 10am and 12 noon (theory class) and at the Community Organic Garden between 1pm and 3pm (practical using apple trees in the garden). Bring your own lunch to share. There are a limited number of places available so we offer the course on a first-come first-served basis. Suggested donation of around £10 to cover our costs. The course leader, Alister Nimmo, is a local gardener with particular expertise in fruit trees.

For more information and to sign up, contact Lesley Kingsley or Louise Robertson on info@ccog.org.uk or 07825 613683. Check our website for more events coming up in the future and information about the garden and a map of how to find us.
