These are really excellent. What a fabulous collection. Quite a few are familiar to me; others less so.

I love that Lephinstrath Bridge was a worthy subject for postcards - a very interesting insight. Such bridges may have been new or renewed at the time, and represented progress, engineering excellence and development, would be my guess. Others may know better.

Somebody may correct me, but I believe Lephenstrath Bridge is the only two-arched bridge in Kintyre.
