Hey folks

Just wanted to share the great news the JSC aka The Wee Toon Runners are invited along to Scottish Athletics Annual Awards this year as we are on the short list for Jogscotland Group of the Year.

This is all down to the dedication of all our jogleaders and all you members who are so great that you make our job easy.

Anyone wishing to come to the awards should let me know. Tickets are £36 per person, all are welcome.

The date is 22nd nov in the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow. We were there and had a great time with our "close friend" Liz McColgan, not that im name dropping or anything

So the whole town has to keep their fingers and toes crossed for us, but remember even if we don't get first place that we have already won by doing what we are doing

From what I read on here I can't imagine there is a better JogScotland group, well done on being shortlisted and good luck on the night.

thanks folks, just wondering - a question for the ladies - do trainers go with the posh frocks 4 the big night or will we try sprinting in oor heels i believe there is a race like that somewhere.

Funny enough I was reading about that a couple of nights ago, it was done in high heels for breast cancer, i think.

Great news for the group and I also pleased to say that oor Fiona is also shortlisted for 'Jog Leader of the year '....so looks like we may be celebrating two awards that night. Fingers crossed.

You deserve the recognition Fiona dol ...you a star and we all love you .
am unable to attend after

Unfortunately I am gutted that I am unable to attend after,along with others, putting forward the nominations but I will be there in spirit with you all and raise a glass. Just wish I could change my holiday plans .

Read that myself ninja and fancied organising an event like it .....not sure although how you boys would get on in heels but it would be fun.
