Handicap Night Out/Presentations

Postby Ileach B » Thu Oct 01, 2009 7:22 pm

I know it's not going to be until end of this month, but looking to see when suits everyone as I was asked on Tuesday night when it will be by several desperate for a night out! 8)

Would the Wednesday night after the last race be a good night and then everyone is in good spirits from the last race or would another night be prefered?

Bringing this thread back up, as only 2 weeks to final race.

Please let us know what night suits for presentations/drinks - possible Friday night? Mabye Friday after race or following Friday? Fiver collection to myself, can be before final race if not please remember on the race night - just so you don't miss out! 8) Thank you.

Think Friday 6th November may be best but happy if it is a Wednesday too - don't think we will find a date that suits everyone. We need to give Donald time to sort out the results etc

l would just like to say, what ever night you choose,l know you will support it like you have done on all the races, that is the kind of people you are.

David and Isla need some direction from you to pick a date,so if you could kindly let them know what you prefer, either the Wednesday after or the 6th Nov,then they can get on and organise the night.(just pm them both)

We all know what ever you choose, the night will not suit everybody(including me),but there is always next year we can all attend.

This is your event that you have all been part of and run really hard to make it such good fun, you deserve a good night out and it would be nice to mix with all you runners, that we sometimes just see either on the road or recently at the monthly run and the MoK.

See you all on the final run at least, and stay injury free,it should be good (if the road works are gone,"typical")

Friday 6th November sounds good to me. Some "rocket fuel" after Guy Fawkes' night. :<>

Spoke to Isla today and Friday 6th November 2009 it is! Seems to suit the majority. Can you please spread the word.

Isla will confirm time and venue asap and a few other things too.

See you all Tuesday. Looking forward to my monthly run!
