Oban Half Marathon

Postby 4th gen Suthen' » Sun Oct 04, 2009 6:53 pm

Just Jocelyn and me from the Campbeltown area up in Oban for the race today.

A beautiful day in North Argyll and a very enjoyable race....11 out of the 13.1 miles flat and easy going....but the other 2.1 :? :? miles 9 to 11 up the new cycle track out near Ganavan....jeepers! sections of it make the Leerside look gently undulating!

Jocelyn was first in her category and went up to collect her prize at the ceremony in grand style :D well done Jocelyn.

I'm sure it's modesty that's stopping you from telling us how high up the field you finished John.
I know my Summer'll never come
I know I'll cry until my dying day has come
Let the Winter roll along
I've got nothing left but song
