NEW OPENING TIMES
Wednesdays 10.30am-12.30pm
This will be quite a long post so please read to the end.
The Food Bank is run by volunteers, most of whom are the wrong age (!) or in the "at risk" sector due to underlying health issues, therefore we have had to rethink our opening times and also how we work.
To enable us to continue to offer this service we will only operate one day a week and by appointment only.
For everyone's protection there will be no entry to the building
(hence the appointment) and bags will be pre-filled and handed out at the door on your arrival at the designated time.
To make an appointment please phone our new mobile number: 07936 034600 only on a Tuesday evening between 6pm and 9pm and you will be given a time to be at the Food Bank on the Wednesday.
It is important that you arrive for your appointment on time for your own safety and that of the person after you.
As everyone knows, we rely totally on donations from local people for the food and we have been overwhelmed by their generosity, especially over the last few weeks, but we do run short and will do our best to give as much as is possible.
We hope that we can continue to provide this service throughout but please keep checking our page for any updates we may have to make as time goes on.
