The MOK Fest committee are delighted to announce that this year’s Festival Ceilidh on Friday the 22nd August in the Victoria Hall will feature Country/Americana band Honest Sam and the Dealers.

This Glasgow based seven piece band feature the fantastic vocal pairing of Alan and Annie McSwan, the renowned Steve Caban on Telecaster and the sublime pedal steel of Alastair Hogg. They are joined by a new rhythm section with the ubiquitous Tim Clark on bass and young buck Damian Toner on drums. Multi instrumentalist Tim Black completes the line-up with his awesome banjo, mandolin, guitar and vocals. Since forming in the 80s the band have expanded their set to include many classics which are going down a storm with audiences.

The Nicky McMichan Band will play the ceilidh set with the award winning Kintyre Schools Pipe Band opening the night in their usual rousing style, Kay Johnston will MC. Tickets cost £15 with children up to 12 getting in for only £8 to this hugely popular family event.
