There was a camp site last year, most likely will be open again.

The Victoria Hall allows a capacity of 700 for the Saturday night concert.

There will a campsite just outside the centre of town, which has full shower and toilet facilities and 24 hour stewarding.
Charges have still to be decided but will be reasonable.

The tickets go on sale around the end of June through Ticketweb, more details will be available on the website as soon as they are available.

All events over the weekend are licensed, organised and managed by the Festival.

This includes the designated areas at the outdoor events 'Doon the Green' and 'The Burnside Bash', allowing people to legally consume alcohol 'alfresco' in Campbeltown.

Hopefully not Sarah - (thought this was where you were going with this)
we fully accept the bar situation was far from adequate last year. Don't know if you have ever attended any, but previous Sat night concerts have been much more laid back affairs.

Last year was our first time with an 'open hall' effectively doubling the amount of punters all in party mode and wanting a drink or 3. This, compounded with the fact that we were required to decant from cans & bottles into plastic glasses did not help. If you were at the Proclaimers you will know it was much the same then.

Anyway, it is something we are looking at and hopefully this year we will get it right or at least a lot better!

Part of the problem was the volume of people built up at the bar - having finally got your drink (we opted for quadruple vodkas since we were nearly dehydrated by the time we got there!) it was impossible to get back out again! Is there no way some sort of partition/railing could be used with entry one side and exit the other? It would at least stop folk pushing in/getting drink spilt.
