The Girl Who Played With Fire was great reading, have just started one of the earlier Jack Reacher books by Lee Child, Die Trying, promises to be good, as usual. I`m so pleased Ags put me onto them.

Burial Ground by John Rickards is an enjoyable mystery. The murder of a family 15 years previous comes back to haunt the residents of a small road stop in the American mid-west.In the middle of nowhere,in the middle of the night during the worst storm in living memory. Before the night is over the death toll will rise.

Bill, the John Rickards book, was it hardback or paperback? Cos I couldn`t find it last night. Unless it`s not recent?

Still haven`t found it. Have just started The Devil`s Garden, by Richard Montenari. Was it you who recommended it Bill, I`m sure it was someone on here?

Bone by Bone from Carol O'Connell is a terrific murder mystery thriller with countless red herrings.I was kept guessing to the very end.

Just finished reqading The Priest, by Gerard O`Donovan, great read. I think it`s his first book, if so, it`s a cracking starter. Am now reading Innocent, by Scott Turow, I`ll finish it, but it`s not doing an awful lot for me, a tad boring.

Finally finished The Snowman by Jo Nesbo. I found all the Norwegiain names a bit confusing to begin with but once I eventually found the time just to sit down and read it for more than a couple of pages at a time, I really enjoyed it.
I have just finished Room By Emma Donoghue. It is a brilliant book and like nothing I have ever read before. Jack is 5 and excited about his birthday. He lives with Ma in a locked room eleven feet by eleven feet. He has a few friends who are tv characters but doesn't know there is a big wide world outside his and Ma's locked door. Told in Jack's voice, this story of mother and son is genius. Definitely more for the ladies but I loved it.

Glen Cooper's Library of the dead.. Paying for It by Scottish author Tony Black.. Three weeks to say goodbye by C.J.Box.. Play to Kill by mother and daughter team P.J.Tracy were all excellent reads.
No hesitation in recommending all four to you Numberplease.

Ags, I`m pleased that you liked The Snowman, but all those Norwegian names are hard to get your tongue around aren`t they? Room sounds interesting, I`ll look out for it.
Bill, thanks for the recommendations. Play to Kill I`ve read, love their books, and I`ll make a note of the other 3.
I`ve just finished Gone, by Mo Hayder, cracking read, never read her before. Am now reading Hell Gate, by Linda Fairstein, only just started so too early to give an opinion yet.
