Euro 2012 Predictor

Postby Walt Jabsco » Tue May 22, 2012 12:13 pm

Any sign of a Predictor competition for the Euro 2012 Mr P?

I always enjoy your Predictor, although it remains my usual £10 donation to charity! :D

Not long until the opening game.

Yes, was just working on it at the weekend. Said after the last one I wouldn't do it again but less teams and does create a bit of interest. 50% of takings will go to the kids football which I hope those who enter approve of. Will make sure we do something specific with it rather than a donation. 8)

Walt - send me an e-mail at david@campbeltown.info and I'll e-mail you the sheet for proof reading later tonight once I'have worked on the formatting a bit.

Sheets now in the Commercial and Burnside

Will get downloaded version on here tomorrow night

One change to the rules this time is if you nail all 8 quarter finalists you get a bonus of 10 points. Same for the semis - if you guess all 4 you get another 10 points

Is it possible to fill one online and then e-mail it to you Davie? I can send a cheque to you?

Oops, I have some vague recollection of giving my entry fee to some dodgy-looking bloke in the Black Sheep Pub. SCD - can you confirm receipt of said tenner (or have you spent it?)

I have so far failed miserably to complete the entry form. Will get it done today at some point.

You may be (probably will be) operating a newer version of XL Double A - do you have an option to 'enable editing' ?

Try saving it as a XL 2003 file then re-opening?

Not sure if either will help but I think I remember having to play around with it earlier this week.
Should Scotland be an Independent country?

Yes, I believe Scotland is a country and should therefore govern itself.
No, Scotland is not a country it is simply part of the UK and should therefore be governed from London.

Double A - it's read only, just chose to edit a copy of the file, then save it as a new filename. Had to do this too this morning. X
