 Yes, you definitely asked for it Roger! I wasn't getting at you btw, just the folk I know who seem to have double standards.

Although your comment about arrogant ba***rd made me growl!

I'm not as scary as you think I am, I'm really not! Mr Govangirl thinks I have you all duped. Anyway, turn around and answer the question boy, why do you think Murray is fatherless and arrogant?

1. Oh I'd be quite happy to acknowledge her. She can pop in anytime for a cup of tea and bit of shortbread. I just won't be bowing.
2. Correct. As Gizmo said earlier, his comments were taken totally out of context.

and although there isn't a 3 I'm going to make one:

3. Folk down here all seem to hate Murray, based, I believe, on what are perceived as his anti-English views - the same people btw that jump up and down at me not supporting the England football team - and attack him on two counts: 1, the fact he's not 'nice' and2, the fact he is Scottish. The latter disturbs me but the fact he is not seen as a Henman Mr Nice Guy is worse. I'd much rather have a recalcitrant WINNER than a well-mannered and 'nice' loser. No-one remembers a runner-up.

I'm sick to the back teeth of being whined at: "We'd support you lot if Scotland were in the World Cup and we weren't" because it's total cr*p! I remember 1978!

It's sickening them that there's no englishman in the singles for the first time.
OOH did they knock down McCaigs folly.....

Well Miss,"b*****d referred to his avian looks but I was not sure how to spell buzzard.I felt that it would have showed arrogance and dis-respect to not show the traditional"bow"to whichever dignitary was in attendance.Royalty or not. Please do not throw the board rubber at me again. It really hurts! :(

Very, very emotional! What a player and what a match! I had every belief that he would be champion today but never for one minute thought he'd do it in straight sets. :D

From what I seen it looked liked a phenomenal match, the 3rd set seemed to be crazy.
That mother of his looks like a scary woman but very emotional when he had won.
Now that Fred Perry is only famous for making tee-shirts, what will the commentators talk about next year? :@

Yep I was sent this - wonder why they couldn't spell Murray???!!!

And I'd still like to know Roger, what your opinion is now of the champion now that he's won?

For anyone that missed the great programme on Andy last week, it is repeated tonight at 9pm on BBC1. It is fantastic and gives the real story of how his 'English' comment got taken out of context by so many English twits. I recommend it if you missed it first time.
