If Mr Morenish is in fact correct, then this was a notably cunning stunt indeed. Mr Morenish's awareness of the said deed though, may well be enough to implicate his good self.

Anyway, as this is now soiled water that has traversed beneath Dippen bridge along with the ducks. Furthermore, Perhaps Mr Morenish would consider attending my surgery in order that I may initiate an intensive course of speach therapy in an effort to correct his intermitant stammer. One of the parallel benefits of this kind of treatment is that he will be able to sing like a linty on completion of the course. The entire community could benefit in the long run, with the likelyhood that he may never want to whistle again (out of tune).
Dr Snod Esq.

Two spoonfulls of Halibut-Liver Oil, Morning & Evening. You know the surgery hours, so don't bother me at any other time. I most certainly don't get paid enough.

Any resemblance to Snoddy's past and present are purely coincidental!

i wasny over there in N O wi the bochan either, i heard aboot it from a pal o mine wi a ranch in kansas, i was over there looking into investing in a chicken ranch and met him while i was out riding, he said i looked like a fellow farmer and this was his spread, some 20 square miles!and right then i had a couple of ache'rs right enough not bein used to horses, but he also told me thats where the bubbly jock is these days, workin in a chicken ranch in kansas!
no wonder he's quiet.

If you clowns had any idea of the devastation in New Orleans STILL, you wouldn't be making stupid jokes. They are STILL pulling bodies out of houses. You are not funny.

This is the most distasteful posting I've seen. What next, jokes about the Holocaust or the Tsunami. I can send you pictures of New Orleans, taken last week by friends of ours. Houses with tiles ripped off to spell HELP.

Aye, yiz are funny right enough.

Aw, be easy on them sweltered. All the politicians scrambling all over each other pointing fingers on who was at fault finally know the real truth. You could almost feel the collective breath of relief after they read the post

I don't give damn about who's fault it was, making fun of a situation where so many people died, aint funny. The tv news didn't show the worst of it. Our friends are buliding contractors who were asked to look over some of the damged areas because of their extensive experience in South Florida, so they saw the worst of the worst.

I'm glad everyone finds disasters amusing.

Sweltered, no one is finding death funny. I would bet every American knows someone who lived there when it happened, was there when it happened, or has been there since. If you feel that strongly, instead of making a huge issue about a little joke, why not go after the people who actually caused the tragedy. I assure you, it wasn't Bochan, and I also assure you that a good amount of the tragedy could have been prevented.

Btw, I was flying to Scotland when the tsunami hit and the earth knocked off its axis. Coincidence? I think not.

You are right, it wasn't funny. Correct me if I am wrong, but the tragedy was caused by a hurricane. As for the people who mismanaged the evacuation. That was to be expected. Your average yank couldn't run a p1ss up in brewery.

Do I not have the right to be offended? I got lambasted for making a joke about some xmas lights, but it's ok to joke about what happened in New Orleans. As usual nobody is allowed to have an opinion Bobbie, unless it's yours. Not related to Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly are you?

And as predicted, making light of the Tsunami now.

If ye don't laugh, ye might greet.

I would bet there's been one time or another at the movies when you have laughed at a joke that was set in a time of tragedy. Quoting from Rabbi Barry H. Block when he reviewed "Life is Beautiful," "Hope and laughter can bring light, even into the darkest corner..."

Regarding being "related to Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly", here I thought you didn't have a sense of humor and you go and say that

Come on Sweltered. Lighten up. Life is too short.

Laugh or Cry?

That was a wild lambasting that poor Morenish got from Sweltered. It must have been something to do wae the temperature oot there in USA. I could have sworn that his avatar was turning red. We're maybe needing the General to step in here and adjudicate, possibly calming him doon wae some talk of 'Hostage'.

It's a damn spite, we're naw sweltered here yet. It was clear until damn nearly 11pm tonight, but it still feels like February. I think that's down to Morenish as well, as it seems to be coming from thon fermer's forecast on Sunday lunchtimes.

Come on Morenish, time to make amends!!

Clowning Around

Postby Right Pongal » Tue May 30, 2006 9:30 am

Come now Morenish, Cann't you see that young Sweltered there is only pulling yer leg. I mean, how could he seriously accuse his congenial hosts of being unable to organize a piss up in a brewery?

One thing's for sure though, that was a hell of a compliment that he gave you: The world needs plenty of clowns to keep a smile on all our faces...... Here I am looking across the room at Mrs Glum!
Don't jeest leave it at yer erse, everything has a place ....................so keep it Pongal!
