Noted towerist attractions included;

Oman's broken windae (since March 2005?).
Patterson's broken windae (now a fruit'n'veg "feature"?).
The Cruban's broken windaes (3 in the one door).
The waste oil tank on the quay that has been overflowing for about 3 years (at least)?
The broken edging on the quay that has rotted away.
The badly vandalised bus shelter.
The piles of scrap down the shore road that haven't moved for a decade.
Having my car stoned by local kids near the bus shelter as I drove up from Port Righ.
Being turfed out of the Glen on Friday night because of the kids 8pm rule (Our party of 5 plus 3 other customers there at the time). I believe this is a house rule and not a legal requirement?
Buying a paper from a gentleman who's blue shirt had more black inside the collar than the waste oil tank.
The Network Centre being closed on the Glasgow September holiday weekend.
The selection of vegetables in Paterson's that were fresh around about October 1963

Would anybody care to comment on the above attractions?

You'll be telling us next that the local kids were dressed up like neds out of 'Chewing the fat'. The ringleader looks like the pied piper, as he looks about 6 years older than all the others, wae shellsuits, and ridiculous baseball caps with the scoops lying at 45 degrees to the cross section of their skulls.

No, the local constabulary don't know who they are, but is it any wonder there are so many broken windows in the village?

What did you come down for again? Oh aye, the good company!

Morenish is your man if your looking for posts. He usually goes round lifting fence posts from up the forestry road for his in-house furnace. However, if the price is right, I'm quite sure that he'll relinquish one or two for a good cause. They're saying that the football team is thinking of moving into the transfer market with its new found wealth.

A wealthier team was never in it, and it's all down to the size of the football shirts sported by the stalky defence. If most teams had written 'The Hugh Trowsers Band' on their shirts, there wouldn't have be room for anything else. However the silver tongued management have managed to extract sponsorship from more than one high profile institution. Some were saying that it might have something to do with cash for questions, but I couldn't say for certain.

Hi you guys, I had occassion again to visit your wonderful village during the week, and apparently the strips are so sought after that they have had to resort to putting barcodes on labels. One strip was allegedly being fielded by another team and the local constabulary were called to assist in bringing the perpetrator to justice.

It was also noted that the trawling industry wasn't fairing any better in these painful times, with unique serial numbers now having to be printed on the backs of all the scallops and langoustines, in an effort to ensure that the vessel responsible for trawling them actually gets paid.

You would honestly have thought that there would have been honour amongst theives.

Bochan Mor, thank you for your kind suggestion .. however last night was cold, rainy and sober, therefore I now have my hundred posts.

On the other hand, the ante has just gone up, I need 1000 posts, can you alert Morenish. I aim to get them by hook or by crook before the next full moon

Carradale FC will have to make do in the meantime.
