I am!

Didn't realise this was on until a few days ago. Planning to treat it as a training run rather than a race ... well that's the plan anyway

I'm going across Bill. Bit like Iceblue--not racing--just trying to put in a reasonable time.

Hector and Sid going as well

I saw him marching, with great purpose, right past the front of my farmhouse this afternoon........family in tow so he wasn't running!

Next time you are there Bill you can go for the same walk Hector went on, stop by and we can listen to Saw Doctors, Johnny Cash and Highwaymen CDs!

Still no training, well no running....... :( heid and knee are better but my back is still right sore.......but, I think, the pain is receding slightly every day........maybe by next Tuesday I can get back to it.

In the mean time........hammering in many miles on the exercise bike.

Oh, a wee tip, not that I know more than anybody else...........watch out for athlete's foot........it can very easily come on you if you dont dry between your toes right! it does not sound, or seem, like a right bad thing but, at the very least, it can take away every single bit of enjoyment from the training......it does clear up pretty quick right enough.........a good squirt with Daktarin usually does the trick!

The only walk of Hector's that I could see myself complete, is the walk from his house to the Commercial.

Hold on there a minute Bill--I just wish that I could have got away with a time of 1 hour 16mins!

Hector McMurchy- 1st--1:16:57
Robert McDonald- 2nd- 1:22:00

Really hot day today, but always a great day out on God's Isle :D

I'll leave it up to Iceblue to let you all know about her impressive performance as well. Cracking performance for a first official go at over 10K

I'm off now to planet Hector-a few beers, a few good sounds, a right good blether an' its naw my hoose that the weans are trashing

Thanks Rabmacd :)

Great running from you too!

Well, I was 3rd placed lady in 1:38:31 - I didn't ever expect to stand on a podium :o

A fantastic day out, and although hot, it was perfect weather for going over to Gigha.

I was looking forward to some alcoholic refreshment myself, but don't think I could face it now :( I'm still trying to rehydrate after running in that heat! Maybe later
