A wee bit bumpy on the way round, but we got back to Troon (in the dark) in 1hr 35 mins from Trumpton. Those nice Coastguard chappies gave us a shout to say that a picknick bench had been spotted in the vicinity earlier in the day and we should look out for it. Probably impossible to spot in broad daylight let alone darkness I'm guessing?
Had a nice lunch in the Glen and then it was short sleeve weather all afternoon.
On a more serious note, heard a siren come down the Skipness Rd and travel through to the East side of the village in the late afternoon. I'm hoping nobody was seriously affected?
