if i turn my amp up really loud will i get a mention, we're still playing, only not together, or at the same time, come to think about it, that sounds familiar?

there will be a one more time, date? sometime in the future, with the addition of a horn section and various guest band members who will be bribed, threatened, blackmailed or cajoled into taking part, the only guarantee will be the admission, value for money just to cover costs and to reflect the age of the material.

think i've already warned some but have given them until 2012, we missed 25th and 30th anniversaries so the next reasonable excuse will be our 50th birthdays, well three fifths anyway. now i've said it i can't go back on it.

best of luck to all the bands playing next month, anmyone with a ticket is in for a treat of local talent

has to be, i walk about constantly with the horn section blaring the intro to "hold on, i'm coming" in my head, i'm forever bursting into song in shops when asked a question cos all i'm listening to is the horns and the sound of sam and dave, who needs an ipod? i've more tunes in my head than the best mp4 player

de re de de, de re de

de re de de, de re de

"hold on"

"i'm comnig"

"hold on"

I know my Summer'll never come
I know I'll cry until my dying day has come
Let the Winter roll along
I've got nothing left but song

Nah, there's a time and place for bloody 'horn sections. I remember The Stranglers trying that one a few years back and it sounded Sh*te. WORSE THAN THAT (wait for it) Stiff Little Fingers turned up for a gig in Manc last year, and tried to shoehorn a horn section into 'Alternative Ulster'.

"Alternative Ulster" PARP PARP P PARP PARP.

Utter UTTER crap. :x

Damned funny though.
