Bochan mor

You're quite right, stick it to 'em. Too much of this using other folks images wothoot permission or even giving the credit where it is due. You jeest keep them 'till you feel the time is right and if that's never then I'm right behind you. Why make others famous on the backs of your prize possessions.

Well, I can now post on here....

Imagine the shock tonight when my father anounced to me that his grandfather came from Carradale! For years now the auld fla has always said that we aren't related to any Patersons in Carradale, and one that he maintains, but he never actually told me we were from Carradale!

I must being getting old - I am now really intrigued to find out more!

Perhaps Bochan Mor, The Heidless Horseman, Sanyanya and Morenish are all related to my family  Now to get a Carradale pseudo name....

I await the mish mash to follow.... 8)

Welcome to the Mad-Hoose

There you are now, and here was me wondering where the telepathic waves were coming from. At first I thought it was from the bochan smoke-hoose, but there were times when the proprietor was all at sea.

TELEPATHY

Postby Sanyanya » Fri Oct 07, 2005 10:59 pm

Was that the same telepathic waves that you used to call in the Minke Whale?

Oh, Oh, Bochan mor

What have you done to poor gary. Was it something you said? Has the goat fell or is he maybe fed up with all this sh..e? literally and figuratively.

He seems to have disappeared into cyber space. Maybe it's just my settings but I can't find him anywhere. I suppose there could be some big event in the Mason's or do they have their own nanny for these occasions?

Well, at least I can't find his photos, either that or he only ever had one in the first place. All I can find is something guising under a tourist attraction but I think it's just a wee photo from Tobacco Road. All that's missing is yon driving instructor smoking his pipe on the porch and wearing Gen Jacks hat. Picture complete apart from the tobacco spitting. ugh!

Maybe a search party should start at Sally's walk. He could be lying right up to his neck in the you know what It can proably get quite slippery doon there. Hope he's up and running soon. (don't know where to)

Heheh! Thank's for the kind thoughts. I'm safe and well.

Don't know what happened to the website but it was down from about 1am until about 10am for some reason. I'll be whipping the tech-monkeys for some answers later.

Cheers

Server Problems

Postby Sanyanya » Sun Oct 09, 2005 11:41 am

Methinks that you have probably felt the wrath of the Bochans. Folklore teaches us that their influence can be considerable & far reaching!

The current brood seems to be more venomous and acid tongued than the more gentle bochans of the early 20th century. Rumour has it that there is worse to come: Bochan Beag is said to be even more sardonic and more cunning than Bushy, so pity help us all when he is ready to fledge.

Probably the introduction of a new blood line from a less tolerant community from outwith the village and possibly Kintyre resulted in the evolution of this strain of bochan.

I'm loathed to say much more or I could find myself on the wrong end of their attention. The last thing I could do with in the autumn is them peeing down my lum & that would only be the start of it.

well, well so the bochan thinks he was getting telepathetic waves, i can gaurantee you bochan it was not that, telepathy is supposed to be picked up by a brain.
and davie p has come out at last, a thing we all suspected but refused to talk about, well done davie!
you can choose your congratulations but not your relations!

Well, well. Poor Davie P! They say that genes will out right enough. Jean will be devastated. Mind you I always thought there was a glint in his eye that you don't find with the average Toonie. The next big question is who was his GGF?

Speaking of genes Morenish, judging by the Bochan's birth certificate there's a lot you're hiding. Seen in this new light, your comments about telepathic waves bring to mind an old phrase about pots and kettles.

Of course Sanyanya's blood line makes him the de facto expert on pots and kettles in these parts so I've no doubt he will want the last word on this sorry state of affairs.
