and the best oh rhode island red eggs they'd be too, one of my uncles used to claim they had to sleep in the henhoose in the summer when visitors were stayin in the hoose, they weren't as fancy as some over the village that had nice sheds oot the back, i remember only ever being inside one such shed once when my half cousin(or whatever weird carradale relationship the offspring of half brothers might be?) john was down visiting, don't think it would have been his fathers house, might have been an uncle's maybe willie's faithers?, he must have been the teachers favourite as a boy as he got called john and to avoid confusion my faither by his last middle name, being named after two brothers called, i've forgot which way roon it is, somedy will need to look the war memorial in the village, they were either john and murray allan, or john and allan murray, clean forgot which way roon it is, maybe sweltered will mind? thats his fill name efter ah
i've heard my granny had 5,000 hens but i don't think that can be right, she had enough for a certain CN skipper who is known to this site to christen him chicken george when roots was showing on telly some years ago. he should away back to st kilda where he came from
