an i know ye've naethin growin there to impede free speach, is it true you've shaved the backs o yer fingers so's ye can type faster?

Dorian, that Wee Eeshan: 'Bobbly Juck' was spotted earlier surfing at Machrihanish. Someone said that he's bought a hoose at the Sound of Kintyre development.

Dear Mr Paterson, can I please have the pleasure of addressing you as David?

Reading your most recent post made me think: 'Wise Men Think Alike' then as Lady Snoddy dispensed my supper-time cup of cocoa, I came back to the usual conclusion that: 'Fools Seldom Differ.'

If anything, I would say that this particular thread has spawned nothing but notoriety for your otherwise excellent website. I was contemplating prescribing a 3 month course of ant-viral programmes, but perhaps you require a reverse firewall, that would restrain the schizophrenic Carradale posters within this particular thread, preventing them from spreading their vitriolic bile amongst the decent & honourable ladies & gentleman who only wish to communicate on a more intellectual level.

P.S. I wondered if it would be possible, through your wonderful site, to emphatically deny any involvement in the vile trade of applying botox and supplying prescription, life-enhancing, drugs. Notwithstanding this, neither had I anything to do with the colonic irrigation episode that was performed to some effect, allbeit the wrong effect, in Peninver.

Lady Snoddy would also like to add that the telephone number posted repeatedly along the edge of the road at Whitestone, only resembled that of ours, and that she is most definitely not available for working in high heels with a feather duster!

You know me Morenish, not happy unless I'm dragging a trailer full of gatarach around the country. I don't need to bother typing, as I've got plenty of willing secretaries ben this hoose, and as long as I keep them fed, watered and clathed, they never complain.

Occassionally I ask the barber to thin out my hair a bit to try and enhance my look of distinction, although Mrs Bochan says its to hide my permanent look of disdain. I've absolutely no idea what she's talking about!

Christmas lights? Christ we've naw even had St Andrews day and the toons ready for the pagans.

My muslim friend, Ali Bin-gullion, can't fathom out why he dinna see any lights up for the feast of Ramadan as this wee toon is fast becoming multi cultural.

Mind you I don't think it was jeest the lights that were getting turned on. Some eyes fair brightened up at the green tights on wan of the switchers and the eyes weren't all female. Aye Bochan mor the switch on gets queer and queerer every year. Wonder who will hae the job next year?

I see thon Tejas critter trying tae post in Arabic, Maybe she meant it to be Scots tongue. Ach it jeest minded me on a gorilla at its first attempt at flower arranging. Nae offence hen.

The last lot that spent £7 million in the toon are still trying tae eradicate the floaters everytime it rains. The only difference wae this lot it's naw the rain but the slight breeze that threatens tae destroy this magnificent piece of keech.

Before I forget on my way home I passed a wide load on the Glesga road. A Vestas lorry carrying three hotels and twelve shops. Dinna see who was driving but he was sitting sideways.
