Sorry jfm1977 , should have replied before now. It is a Konica Minolta Dimage A2 but old and pretty knacked to be honest. Been meaning to buy a new one but bought the on the webcam instead! Doh!

Will post something separate to try and get a thread about photography going. Your photos are great - you should post more! 8)

A'Chleit is a very peaceful and, sometimes I feel, underestimated place. I've visited there a few times, but I've never had the right weather to hand. Your pics do it justice beautifully SCD :D :D :D

I found myself working in the town last saturday until lunchtime. The weather was ok-ish and as I had the camera in the car I took a drive up to A'Chleit. Anyone passing must have seen me stood in the high tide in my wellies leaning over the tripod!

Very atmospheric, What? I love it. Every picture on here is superb.
I wanted to ask though. I often put these photos on to my computer as background pics. Am I allowed to do that?

Well done, What? ! A great mood you've created there. You've managed to do just what I wanted to do with those steps, but couldn't.

Fine with me, Gg :)

The pics on here are low res so there's not a great deal that an unscrupulous person could do with them, if you blew them up to poster size they would look horrible and pixelated.
