Asda in Boston last night had dropped by 1p to 99.9 per litre for both unleaded and diesel. May it continue to drop.

Helensburgh £1.03.99 at the moment, cheaper up at Breahead was £1.01.99 the other week. Much cheaper to fill the car up afore goin down to the town, not used the pump in town for weeks now.

OMG - I went to the County Thursday/Friday last week and the cost of petrol was £108.9 - Today (Monday) the price for unleaded was £111.9 :x This is a 4p price hike in 4 days (1p per day)!

I called my family up the road and they are 102.9 in Morrisons and 103.9 in Shell.

I made a comment in the Country about the amount of the price hike in such a short space of time - The response was that the price changes every time the tanker arrives!

Does anyone else have issues with this? I know people of written to the MP for the area about this a few times, but has anyone gone to trading standards?

Role on Tescos Petrol Station - I'll look forward to spending my 5p off vouchers when I get them and also getting some extra points on my clubcard. At least with Tescos you'll get something back! Country give you nothing except more price increases.

A very angry

I also noted that in the passing today after filling with fuel on Friday. Diesel was £112.9. :x

We shall just have to watch when the tankers come in now, will it go up again or down .

Roll on the competition.

Hear hear  2 Petrol stations can only be good for the motorist..... £1.12 for Diesel is ridiculous !!!

This must be one of the highest prices in the UK ATM, I bet you the service stations on the M6 and like are only at £1.10 !!!

If someone could confirm.... Can someone tell me again what the real reason is that it is so high here again... I have heard that many versions over the years I have forgotten the real reason....

NOTE TO ANY TOURISTS HEADING DOWN HERE.... FILL UP (AND YOUR EXTRA CANS) AT DUMBARTON BEFORE YOU START YOUR JOURNEY 8|

I asked a collegue who works in the Outer Hebredies a couple of months back what theirs was like, and it was 118.9 at the time! I was really annoyed at the price of ours which is why I asked, but the price we pay paled in comparison to that...
We've got a team meeting next week so it will be interesting to see where they are now.

When we were last down your way, we found the cheapest unleaded to be at Lochgilphead Tesco, and the dearest was at Clachan, don`t know how they compare nowadays.
