Neil John and Darren are heading up the Barr Glen tomorrow night. If anyone wishes to join them then meet at the Vets for 6pm. Darren has a people carrier so will be able to take at least another seven.

Hi everyone sounds as though you are all enjoying the competition. Sorry i'm unable to join in but have had a tendon problem since end of June and hoping to start getting out again this week but will need to gradually ease myself in again. So Bar Glen out for me this time also.
Good luck everyone will log in and see how you are all getting on.

Hi everybody, I missed my bus up to Glenbarr. If somebody has a free seat in the car I would greatly appreciate to join!
Thanx a lot!

Runners just do it - they run for the finish line even if someone else has reached it first.

I'm sure Darren will give you a lift. If you are still about when I pass with Rab we will give you a lift. Must admit I thought a man of your means would just run to Glenbarr!

Not looking forward to tonight. Twice as many training sessions since the last run with 2 runs this time and the weekend after the MOKFEST doesn't bode well! Ach well it is the taking part! 8)

To op it all all i woke up on the first morning of the training with a killer sore throat but did i get out of the training or get any sympathy - no just told to get my kit on!!!!! and no slacking

so im afraid ive not got a personal trainer to shout at me now so im slacking and letting my broken wee body recover :(

Well done to everyone who ran the hills at Barr Glen tonight, I have to say I wasn't envious. Was a pleasant change to be timekeeper, quite enjoyed this actually.

Benguillon next, mmm do I feel an injury coming on? :<> :<>

Thanks Katfer, but these things wouldn't be possible without the non competing helpers, so well done to all who have turned up so far. Got a wee bit of a shock when I saw that the first mile was pretty much all uphill, though some bits not as steep as others. Stll found it a lot easier than the Westport one, though. Maybe the training is starting to kick in. I can see the handicaps starting to take effect. If everything pans out, we may well have a cavalry charge over the last 400m of the last run.

That'll not be an easy task to keep the times then Katfer

Hard run last night and certainly makes for interesting total scores. Good to see you back to your speedy self Rab. Obviously the beech doesn't suit them wee legs.

Will post results etc once I get them ( and will post last month's too! )

Think I'll miss the next one. Shame :D 8)

Yes , good running from everyone , and thanks to the helpers once again , as it must have be worse standing been eaten alive by midges. :(

Got to say I was pleased with my run but glad I had went up the week before to see what it was like as I think it made a difference knowing what was ahead. Definitely felt easier than the beach run so maybe the hill training over the last few weeks did pay off for us . The endorpins really kicked in last night after that run . :D

Hi All,

Well done to everyone who ran last night, there was a good effort of catching up on your handicaps you were given and really running your best and making every point well earned what ever placing you attained.Good stuff.

Hope to see the rest of you at the next race, to thos that did not manage this one (speedy recovery to you all).

Thanks to Isla,Katie and Rob for helping,(it went like clock work),now that we all are getting used to the pace you are all comming in on.

l have the results so l will get them over to Davie to night,(please give me a shout if my time for you is wrong,l did them quickly last night and l won't check them till later)

Davie is quite busy,so if you can't wait untill they are up,feel free to email me.

Thanks again for another fine race to watch.

Well done everyone another successful race! Everyone looks to be enjoying it, good to see all the runners coming down the hill to the finish at the bridge and even the rain managed to stay away - pity about the midges.

Think the time keeping worked better this time with Katie recording Donald shouting times, and I was recording race positions and numbers. See you all for Beguillion is it next? 8)

Well done to everyone who ran on Tuesday night and conquered the Barr Glen hill

I must admit I found it tough going up the hill at the start  but the downhill was great fun, I really enjoyed that part :D Looking forward to the next one at Bengullion ..... I think :?

Going by my Garmin, I reckon my real time was 23.30 on Tuesday.
