Is there anything in particular that I should know about this frog? Would I need to contact the poison unit in Edinburgh regarding antidotes etc?

Is the poison likely to be projected via a dart from a blow pipe and is it effective against bochans, white-settlers and turkeys?
Dr Snod Esq.

Two spoonfulls of Halibut-Liver Oil, Morning & Evening. You know the surgery hours, so don't bother me at any other time. I most certainly don't get paid enough.

Any resemblance to Snoddy's past and present are purely coincidental!

Dunno about all that snoddy but with a pair of gnashers like that I`d contact the dental society for possible donor purposes.

Spirit Aboot

Postby Bochan Mor » Wed Dec 21, 2005 10:46 pm

Aye, Bitter End, theres a few wandering spirits about wae this Solstice nonense. Things will start warming up now that the prawn, spoot and clam market have closed. Only the poor fermers and the shop-keepers will swing as much as a hammer between now and the New Year.

The young fellas will have walked off the boats and left the skippers to their own devices. Not like the old days at all. I know fine that old Pongal, will be shaking his head hellish.

I don't think bubbly will be saying too much for a day or two yet. Apparently theres a shortage of turkeys this year, with all this scaremongering over bird flu and new regulations. Aye, you have to register flocks in excess of 40 birds these days, and the poor vets want nothing to dae with it.

There could be a few wild turkeys roaming around if the man from the Ministry arrives unexpected and the fermers scutch them over the fence, so keep a weather eye!

I think I know what's been keeping Bubbly...the registration queue is horrendous this time of year! Doesn't help with the wisecracks, either (Is that you in disguise giving poor Bubbly a hard time, Davie?!)

Sore

Postby Bochan Mor » Fri Dec 23, 2005 9:15 am

Now Morenish, don't you be too sore on our cameraman. If it snows at Christmas, how would any ex-pats know that it had happened.

There might be a dose of visitors here at Christmas wae their dogs, and they wouldn't have a clue where to empty them if the boxes were full. Is there no way that you could spread that muck on the fields?

We'll all need to watch out tomorrow, as the final touches will be put to the classrooms, so hang on to your trees.

Could we not just send a photo of him to Africa

And remember, a goat isn't just for Christmas. What with casseroles and curries it can be made to stretch right into the New Year.

Cheers
