Postby hoots the scoop » Sat Dec 23, 2006 12:12 pm

I heard a wee rumour that the fabulous Hugh Trowsers Band 8) will be playing the Argyll Hotel in Campbeltown on Saturday 3rd Feb? can anybody confirm this? Davie? Malky?

Same weekend as the Complete Stone Roses in the Vic.....WOW what a weekend for the Wee Toon if true  :D

Yep, Campbeltown is turning into the musical capital of Scotland..................

Yes it's on and it's in aid of Argyll FM with sponsorship from Alan of D McNair and Son.

They're hoping for a sellout in the Argyll Hotel. That shouldn't be a problem

That's going to be a busy weekend 8)

There are now tickets in the Argyll Hotel and at Argyll FM.
I also have some as does Les Oman...

PM or phone me or Les....we will get the tickets to you......or just stop by the Argyll or the radio station.

It 's gonna be great...many tickets gone already.

And many thanks to D McNair and Son, local fuel merchant for sponsoring and supporting the event....
Strangely enough I met what seemed to be every single member of the company in the Argyll this afternoon when I was leaving in the tickets......gie near spooky so it was!!

Never got to see the Hugh Trowsers band over the Green but was at the Trumpton Riot the night before where they went down a storm.

Very good band live with a number of catchy tunes - Eusebio in particular is really good. Living the Dream sounds as good as ever too. Plus, as mentioned before, Viviene Scotston has an amazing voice.

Forum night oot?
