Try saving it as a XL 2003 file then re-opening?

Not sure if either will help but I think I remember having to play around with it earlier this week.

Just checked and have read only at the top of the downloaded file, which is a bit strange as i am able to update other excel files, it does say that i have ran out of my trial period

I have so far failed miserably to complete the entry form. Will get it done today at some point.

SyE - yes he passed it on. Cheers. Get your entry in soon :-) (note - now received - thanks :-) )

JillW wrote:Double A - it's read only, just chose to edit a copy of the file, then save it as a new filename. Had to do this too this morning. X

Yes, just enter you scores, then Save As. Its read only as still on the web when you are entering your guesses. Save As will make it local which means you can save your scores and e-mail me them at david@campbeltown.info before 5pm mind :-)

Oh and here is my entry so I can prove I didn't fill it in as I went along :-) :-) Not sure have Italy not getting a point or scoring a goal was my intention but too late noo! Best of luck.

60 entries so far

So going to make it £500 to the Winner, £50 to runner up and £20 to Third with £570 going to the local kids football. Thanks for all the entries which are listed below. Any issues let me know at david@campbeltown.info

Two entries to be added to the list. They were in the Burnside for William and Donald McKinnon so final tally is 116 entries

Just to highlight you can get a copy of your entry from the Commercial Inn if you needed. I meant to highlight that last night.

Anyone got more than 25 points so far? 8)

can we get a wee update tonight Davie, after this first round of games?

I'm only asking this 'cos (after a slow start) I've had 37 points out of the last 40. If I'd got hee-haw I'd have been deleting the spreadsheet and branding the whole thing as a bloody stupid idea!!!

Aye you've come out of no where! You're second equal on 49. Leader is on 54. Will post a league table tomorrow at some point. Its amazing how quickly it turns.

Actually you have nailed the last 7 results and nailed 5 out of the last 6 correct results amounting an amazing 57 out of 60 for the last 6 games. Should have went to the bookies!! :-)

Great to hear Jill - I knew you knew your football better than the predictor was showing! 8)

League table as at the end of LAST night's games (after Ukraine Sweden game - 11th June 2012)

I can confirm Sheil Yer Erse is now in the lead with 69 points after another two correct scores tonight!

For information a master copy of all entries has been put in a sealed envelope in the Commercial Inn in case of any disputes or I drop deed. I realised I have the only copy of each entry so if anyone needs to take over there is a master copy in a brown envelope below the bar in the Commercial Inn. Plus someone independent can view them if need be 8)

Oh well enjoy my donation! I would've at least been mid-table if I didn't listen to my 'pundit' husband who persuaded me to change some of the outcomes!! I know, excuses excuses. Maybe I'll win my sweepstake....
