Just been down to the filling station in KLB for a few gallons for the generator.

I'm coming down to Carradale the weekend after next to pick up a few things from the house and go to the football club dinner, so will be planning my fuel stops with care. I've always tried to support local businesses as well though so will probably top-off my tank at Kenny's before heading back up on the Monday.

Down to $1.39/gallon in San Antonio. Amazing that it went from $4 to $1.39 in a matter of months.

$1.39! I was in Florida in February and I'm sure it was over $2 per gallon. Probably much more. When the pump clicked full, I thought it was broken as it only had about £20 worth in there (this was for a Cadillac DTS so hardly a super mini :D )

82.9p in Chesterfield tonight.

The prices are so close to being in the 70's (70 something p that is). It would be brilliant if they fell that low (and lower).

Oil is currently hovering around $40 per barrel from $147 ish per barrel - it's a shame that the petrol at the pumps hadn't dropped by the same percentage - we'd be paying 32p per litre

Trouble is, the Saudi oil barons are intending to cut down production, to stop prices going too low.

You know, my old china, I'm pretty sure price fixing is illegal...

Ah but not when it's the House of Saud.
