Fuel prices have always always been higher in the town.I remember way back in the 70s pump prices in the town were the 2nd highest in Scotland.It's a fact of life,might not be right, but it aint going to change.

Count yourself lucky. Tesco in Bicester (Oxfordshire) is 103.9 for Derv, 95.9 for unleaded. A few miles down the road (Swindon) it is 99.9 for derv and 93.9 for unleaded (also in Tesco). Funny that their petrol prices are so different, I bet their food is the same price in both stores.

On the up again - diesel at the County has jumped to 104.9p today, and unleaded is 103.9p

99.9p for diesel in Glasgow today (Shell station in Stonelaw Road, Burnside, and at Sainsbury's in Stewartfield, East Kilbride). Unleaded was 93.9 I think.

The cheapest for diesel in Oban yesterday was 103.9p (didn't notice unleaded though).
Fyneside was 103.9 for diesel and 99.9 for unleaded, although this had jumped to 102.9 on my way back down to the town

This morning the County has put unleaded up to 104.9p, I can't ever remember the two being the same price before

A motion put forward yesterday in the commons to allow rural petrol stations to charge less duty on fuel was defeated by a very large majority!!

Paid 93.9 per litre at Asda in Linwood yesterday, price in Campbeltown £104.9 Petrol here is now the same price as Deisel

Unleaded is a whole 12p cheaper here in Cheshire at the moment. Diesel's currently 99.9p.
