I was over there last week. Brilliant. It would put the pubs in the town to shame. There was a lovely atmosphere. Now I want to buy a boat! Anyone with a boat looking for a place to go should go over to Sanda. If there's a spare seat, give me a shout!!!!

Seems to be interest in Sanda even at the huge price tag.

Below is an extract from an article in today press.

Funny you should say that EMDEE as I have given it some thought.The only way I can see it being a possibility is if I was to sell the condo in Florida and the villa in Cyprus,and there is no way that is going to happen.

It is possible though that a very nice Suthen' fermer might like to go halves on a cash bid.

I see the asking price has been reduced from £3,250,000 to £2,750,000, as it has failed to attract a buyer.

No actual ferry to the island but you can tender any of the boat trip operatives in the area, the island belonged
to Jack Bruce of the band Cream.

So if there's no ferry, who drinks there? Do many people hire out boats? Would the pub be mostly frequented by fishermen?

Who has bought it? Does anyone know? I went over last summer with friends with a rib. It was a fantastic night, the sun was just going down. The pub was full of sailors from around here and Ireland. It was a lovely atmosphere. The kids were all playing football in the field with some of the men joining in. There was a barbecue going outside for anyone who wanted to throw some food on. I don't own a boat but if I did I would have been back.
